Note: The years after the song indicate when the song was written and when the OSUMB started performing the particular song, respectively.

Note: In regards to the following songs:

According to R. Michael (Mike) Jones (son of Richard L. Jones, former Drum Major [1939 - 42]) the above songs were being performed by the OSUMB, while Mr. Jones attended Ohio State between 1939 - 1942. As these songs were not in use in 1928, it certainly dates the OSUMB early arrangments of these songs to the 1930s.

Why isn't the The Hey Cheer included on this website?

The Hey Cheer, also known as Rock and Roll Part 2, is commonly played by the Ohio State University Marching Band and Ohio State Pep Band at Ohio State athletic contests; however, the song is not included on this web site for two reasons:

From Wikipedia.com:

In 2005-2006, (Gary) Glitter was convicted on child sexual abuse charges in Vietnam. After the conviction was upheld in court, the NFL asked teams to stop playing the song. One team that used the song, the New England Patriots, announced that they had already planned to drop the song even before the NFL's request.

I hope you understand and accept my reasons on why The Hey Cheer is not included on this site.

If You Cannot Get a Song to Play

If your web browser does not play any MP3 or MIDI file, it is because your web browser was not configured to support these formats. It is also possible that your computer lacks the helper applications, required by your browser, to support the playing of MP3 or MIDI files. It is beyond the scope of this web site to provide technical support for the myriad of web browsers available. Therefore, a special area has been set up so you can still access the songs, by viewing Alternative Location for MP3/MIDI Files.

Copyright Notice: The MP3 files are copyrighted by The Ohio State University Marching Band. They may only be used for the purpose of your listening pleasure. They may not be used for any other purpose, especially for financial gain, as The Ohio State University Marching Band receives royalties for the CDs and music they produce.
